Voices of Hope Choir
"I have learned so much from the women who sang there. I have learned about the transformative power of music. I have learned that creating and performing music together requires heart and discipline and teamwork. What the choir women of metro state prison’s ‘Voices of Hope’ has created is nothing less than a triumph of spirit and hard work.
We cannot know any woman’s story and experience within prison walls without having lived it ourselves. But each of us has a story to tell and a song to give."

I would like to send out a special thank you to The Andrew Young Foundation for the special they did on The Voices of Hope, the women at Lee Arrendale State Prison, and our case. "Andrew Young Presents: Harmony in Hard Time" aired in October 2011. See clips from the special on our media page.
I would also like to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated their time, money, and support to help us in our fight over the years. Recently, I have had many friends of Mom help me by contributing to her monthly packages and/or her defense fund. I cannot tell you how much it means to me and to Mom to have people out there to help us! May God bless all of you!
Thank you all,
